Vertex has its strategic focus on three core products:
- Sodium Hypochlorite
- Caustic Soda
- Hydrochloric Acid
Sodium Hypochlorite
Sodium hypochlorite is a highly cost effective, functional and user friendly source of disinfection, sanitation or oxidation. It is a universally applied basic chemical for numerous applications: municipal water/waste water, food processing, sanitation, household and institutional cleaners, germicides, mold removers, laundry, chemical processing and industrial water / wastewater treatment.
Vertex has the flexibility to develop and produce products based on each customer's unique needs.
Caustic Soda
Caustic soda is most commonly manufactured by the electrolysis of sodium chloride brine in either a membrane or diaphragm electrolytic cell. Co-products are chlorine and hydrogen. The largest users of caustic soda are the pulp and paper, detergent and chemical industries. Caustic soda is also used to produce alumina , and in the oil, gas, textile, as well as many other industries.
Hydrochloric Acid
Hydrochloric acid is used in a wide variety of industrial applications. Some of the more common applications include: steel pickling, oil well acidizing, food processing, bio-fuels production, calcium chloride production, ion exchange bed regeneration, and mineral processing.
